Channel configuration

The Channel configuration section selects how Buckets routes audio through its delay lines. The choice affects which Time controls are visible and how left/right channels interact.

Channel configurations

Ping-Pong direction Direction for Ping-Pong mode (shown on the Ping-Pong button). Click to reverse bounce left→right or right→left.
Serial direction Direction for Serial mode (shown on the Serial button). Click to reverse cascade L→R or R→L.

Tips

  • In Stereo mode, use separate left/right delay times and the width control — see Time.
  • Mono hides the right delay channel and width slider; one delay time applies to both outputs.
  • Ping-Pong is useful for rhythmic echoes that bounce across the stereo field. When Ping-Pong is selected, use the direction toggle on that button to reverse the bounce.
  • Serial stacks two delay colours in series. When Serial is selected, use the direction toggle on that button to reverse the cascade. Use Width to narrow or widen the cascade image (same behaviour as Ping-Pong).
