Time¶
The Time section sets delay length and stereo behaviour. Times can be expressed in milliseconds or synced to the host tempo (note, dotted, or triplet divisions).
Controls¶
| Control | Description |
|---|---|
| Delay Time (L) | Left delay time in ms or synced note value. |
| Delay Time (R) | Right delay time in ms or synced note value. |
| Link | Link left and right delay times. |
| Width | Stereo width of the delayed signal. |
| Time mode (L) | Left delay time units: click to cycle between ms, note, dotted, or triplet. |
| Time mode (R) | Right delay time units: click to cycle between ms, note, dotted, or triplet. |
| Pedal mode | Pedal mode: limit delay range to the active character profile, otherwise max 1200ms. |
| Delay Time (L) | Delay time in ms or synced note value. |
| Time mode (L) | Delay time units: click to cycle between ms, note, dotted, or triplet. |
Time units¶
| Unit | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Ms | Free delay time in milliseconds. |
| Note | Tempo-synced quarter-note divisions. |
| Dot | Dotted note divisions. |
| Trip | Triplet note divisions. |
In Note, Dot, or Trip, the equivalent delay in milliseconds is shown at the top of the delay knob; the value under the knob stays the note name.
Tips¶
- Enable Link to keep left and right times matched while adjusting one knob.
- The top ms value updates with tempo and knob position; click it to switch that channel back to Ms.
- Pedal mode clamps the delay range to the maximum defined by the active character profile. This results in behavior that is as close as possible to an original analog delay pedal.
- Maximum delay time depends on the selected tone profile (from 300 ms to 1200 ms).
