Visualizer¶
The centre visualizer shows a halftone representation of the delay audio and doubles as an XY control surface. Which parameters the pad drives is configured in the Pad assignments editor.
Visualizer¶
The pad displays a live halftone of the delay signal. Drag on it to set the assigned X and Y parameters; the pad cursor appears while you hover or drag, and hides when you leave.
Controls¶
| Control | Description |
|---|---|
| Visualizer pad | Delay audio visualizer. Drag to control assigned X/Y parameters; use the axis button in the header to assign targets. |
Tips¶
- The halftone dot colour reflects the active character profile.
- Open the Pad assignments editor from the X/Y edit button in the header to choose X/Y targets.
Pad assignments editor¶
Open the editor with X/Y edit in the header. A dimmed overlay shows a Pad Assignments card with a pad-preset strip and a two-column grid (Parameter | Range | X | Y). Parameters are split across the columns with no duplicates. Range is always editable; X and Y toggles are independent per row. The visualizer is hidden while the editor is open. Dismiss via backdrop click, Escape, or toggling the header button again.
Controls¶
| Control | Description |
|---|---|
| Pad preset — previous | Previous shader pad assignment preset. |
| Pad preset — next | Next shader pad assignment preset. |
| Pad preset selector | Shader pad X/Y assignment preset; loads immediately. |
| Pad preset — save | Save current pad assignments as a new preset. |
| Pad preset — delete | Delete the selected pad assignment preset. |
Tips¶
- Pad assignment presets are separate from sound presets — they only store XY mappings and per-parameter ranges.
- Use the range scrubber on each row to set how far that parameter travels across the pad axis.
