Signal¶
The Signal section covers input/output levels, feedback, mix, and wet-path filtering.
Controls¶
| Control | Description |
|---|---|
| Input level | Input level before the delay. |
| I/O link | Link input and output levels (opposite directions). |
| Output level | Output level after the delay. |
| Feedback | Amount of delay fed back into the line. |
| Freeze | Loop the delay buffer indefinitely. |
| Mix | Blend between dry input and delayed signal. |
| Mix lock | When on, preset changes do not move the Mix control. |
| Lo cut | Lo cut on the wet path: Off or 1–500 Hz. |
| Hi cut | Hi cut on the wet path: 500 Hz (left) to Off / 20 kHz (right). |
Tips¶
- Use I/O link to ride input and output gain together — moving one control adjusts the other in the opposite direction.
- Feedback at high settings can self-oscillate; combine with lo/hi cut to tame buildup.
- Mix lock is helpful when auditioning presets at a fixed wet/dry balance.
- Input and output VU meters show level around the delay engine.
Freeze¶
- Freeze loops whatever is currently in the delay buffer by recycling the raw delay-line contents directly (not via the feedback knob path). Heard wet still passes through the full model/filter chain once per sample.
- Modulation continues to affect delay time while frozen; the Feedback knob is ignored until freeze is off.
- Ducking does not gate a frozen loop when input falls silent.
- Freeze is automatable and saved in host project state; it is not stored in preset files (loading a preset preserves your current freeze state).
